During my research I thought about how the students would be able to use visuals in my class while ensuring that it is a learning experience with pictures and simple explanations. I wanted to be able to take into consideration that the students have a short attention span. The visuals shared allowed me to take into consideration that the students I teach are young. I wanted to use colors, simple words, and engaging images. The challenge that I had was being able to apply what I wanted to share in a kid friendly infographic. Ensuring that I use Adobe, which I recently learned how to manipulate, allowed for me to create my visual for the students. Being able to add arrows to my picture helps students to see that there is a beginning to ending point with sequential steps to share information about the life cycle of a butterfly.  Instructional Design Project Reflection In this course of LDT 502-Design and Development of Instruction, the process of creating an instructional design was challenging. The process and revisions allowed us to implement the expectations of our professor. We were given feedback to develop a thorough step by step process for our target learners to follow. In doing so, we were able to provide a better understanding of our project content. The revision would also allow our learners to understand the instructional objective. We also had to include diverse ways of differentiating the content for learners. We had videos to share how to download DaVinci Resolve, to edit, export, and embed content to meet the expectations of our viewers. As I sit and reflect on what I want to accomplish, I think about the well-being of all students that I teach.   Through this course of LDT 501,   I am gaining knowledge and understanding about the meaning of Learning/Instructional Design and Technology, along with what it entails. Learning Design, to me, is the process of creating effective learning experiences that facilitate the application of knowledge and skills to keep learners engaged. Learning objectives are considered along with content, instructional strategies, and assessment methods to design experiences that optimize learning outcomes, goals, and objectives of instruction, designing and planning assessment tasks are crucial. Being able to communicate, collaborate, use creativity, and have empathy are great skills for LDIT.  Hi Everyone! :)  I believe that as an educator I need to continue to enhance my skills and knowledge in Learning Design and Technology. There are continuous changes occurring in the education field which requires for me to stay in sync with the world of technology. As I reflect back to my first entry on my Blog about where I stand in regard to Roger’s Diffusions of Innovation Curve, I feel that I continue to fall on the scale of the Early Majority.   I continue to adopt new ideas before the average person depending on research and feedback from others in making my decision.   I feel that it is important to embrace the ever-moving technological world especially as an educator. We continuously have professional development and trainings to enhance our technology skills and implement various learning platforms to analyze student progress which entail the use of Common Core Standards. It allows us to guide students in the use of technology and how to manipulate learning programs to their understandings.
