  In the readings from Unit 1 of Roger’s Diffusion of Innovation Theory, I believe that I fall in the area of Early Majority. I will see that something will work or have seen the work of new technology and find out as much information as possible to take on what I can learn and apply new technologies into the classroom. I think about how I can integrate the innovative technologies to engage students and introduce them to something new. I think about the ways that technology use is encouraged in education and continue to find new ways to facilitate teaching students. LDT-503: U3: Signature Assignment Checkpoint and ACE instructional visual

During my research I thought about how the students would be able to use visuals in my class while ensuring that it is a learning experience with pictures and simple explanations. I wanted to be able to take into consideration that the students have a short attention span. The visuals shared allowed me to take into consideration that the students I teach are young. I wanted to use colors, simple words, and engaging images. The challenge that I had was being able to apply what I wanted to share in a kid friendly infographic. Ensuring that I use Adobe, which I recently learned how to manipulate, allowed for me to create my visual for the students. Being able to add arrows to my picture helps students to see that there is a beginning to ending point with sequential steps to share information about the life cycle of a butterfly. Reflection on Learning Design and Technology in Education

  As we embark on the journey of creating engaging and impactful learning experiences, the exploration of key principles and tools in the realm of learning design has been a transformative process. In this comprehensive reflection, I will share insights and lessons learned from our study of Mayer's principles, Twine, Storyline 360, and the POUR (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust) principles, and how they can be implemented to craft learning materials that truly resonate with learners. This journey in this course has been the most challenging yet rewarding course from which I have learned. The amount of information and manipulation of learning tools was beyond what I have ever expected. My discovery of being a novice learner in learning design has challenged me beyond imaginable.
